Sam Hemming creates unusual and individual pieces of designer jewellery using Egyptian, African and Native American techniques. Taught basic beading techniques by an expert American Beadworker/Designer, she has been developing her craft and individual style ever since.

She has sold work in the Fine Jewellery Dept of Liberty’s of London, with the WGDC, (Worcester Guild of Designer Craftsmen), and at high quality exhibitions throughout the UK. She also has work in select galleries throughout the country.

She uses high quality materials to create delicate chokers and necklets to larger decorative pieces, small studs to elaborate fringed cabachon earrings, bracelets, cuffs, hairslides and brooches. She also creates Bridalwear, beaded bags and head-dresses. She designs with Czech and Japanese glass rocaille (seed) beads in a stunning range of colours, Swarovski crystal glass cabachons and beads. She also incorporates antique buttons and semi-precious gemstones such as Amethyst, Cornelian, Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Turquoise and Amber.

Sam can offer a complete bespoke design service tailored specifically to your needs and requirements. She is pleased to take commissions for your unique designs, and can incorporate your own beads, buttons and treasures if desired.

Sam has been a member of the WGDC (Worcester Guild of Designer Craftsmen) since 1996.
